Terms

Last updated 28 October 2026

In short

  • Peer reviews the files your agent sends and tells it which rules they break and on which lines.
  • You pay as you go from prepaid credit: $0.10 per 1M input tokens. Credit never expires.
  • We never keep your code. It is read, answered and dropped.
  • Findings can be wrong. You and your agent decide what to change.
  • Keep your keys to yourself, and do not try to copy the model or its rules.

Who we are

Peer is made by 510 lab (Nestekant Desserprit, org. no. 830 567 682), Troms, Norway (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@510.at. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Peer: the website, your account, the MCP server and the review API.

If you use Peer for a company, you accept these terms for that company, and you confirm you may do so.

What Peer does

Peer checks one file at a time against a trained, opinionated rulebook, and answers with the rules the file breaks, a score for each, and the lines to look at. It never edits your code. Your agent, or you, decide what to do with the answer.

Peer is hosted only. Access is by invitation while we open it up. We improve the model and the rulebook over time, so the same file can get a different answer from a newer model; every answer names the model that gave it.

Your account and keys

  • You sign in with the email you were invited with. Keep your sign-in safe.
  • API keys act as you. Keep them secret, do not put them in public code, and revoke one on your account page as soon as you think it leaked. You are responsible for what is done with your keys.
  • Tell us at hello@510.at if you see activity on your account that is not yours.

Credit and payment

  • Pay as you go. Reviews are paid from prepaid credit at $0.10 per 1M input tokens: the tokens of the code you send. A file checked again unchanged is free. Your first 1M tokens are on us.
  • Buying credit. You buy credit from $10 through Polar, which sells it to you as merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, adds VAT or sales tax where it applies, and sends the receipt. Polar’s own terms cover the purchase itself.
  • Credit never expires. It is not money: it earns no interest, cannot be moved to another account and is only spent on Peer.
  • Running out. When your credit reaches zero, reviews stop and the tool says so. A review already running is finished, so your balance can dip a little below zero; your next top-up covers it first.
  • Refunds. If a payment went wrong, write to us and we will sort it out with Polar. When a payment is refunded, the credit it bought comes off your balance.
  • Price changes. If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies.

Your code

Your code stays yours. You let us read it only to answer you. We do not store it, log it or train on it: it is held in memory while the model reads it and dropped with the answer. To make repeat checks free, we keep a fingerprint of each file with its answer, never the code (see Privacy).

Only send code you are allowed to share with a service like ours.

Fair use

Please do not:

  • use Peer to break the law or anyone’s rights;
  • attack, overload or probe Peer, or get around its limits, credit or keys;
  • share or sell your access, unless we have agreed to it in writing;
  • try to rebuild the model, the rulebook or its thresholds, for example by sending files in bulk to collect answers and train or tune another system on them.

We may pause or close an account that does any of this.

What Peer can and cannot promise

Peer is an automated check with known error rates, which we publish for each model. It will sometimes flag code that is fine and miss code that is not. It is not a code review by a person, a test suite or a security audit, and you should not rely on it as one.

We work to keep Peer fast and available, but we do not promise it will always be up or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop parts of it; if we stop Peer altogether, we will let you know.

Responsibility

Peer is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or our responsibility for things the law does not let us exclude.

Ending

You can stop using Peer at any time, and close your account by writing to hello@510.at. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Peer changes. For anything that matters, we will tell you before it applies. If you keep using Peer after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can close your account.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Norway, and its courts settle disputes, unless the law where you live as a consumer gives you the right to go to your own courts.
